Every meeting PDX Synergy members share their best marketing tips that they use or have recently discovered. Here is a sampling:

• Use a Flip camera or equivalent to add videos to your emails, making them more personalized
• Magnetic business cards: how many business cards do you get that you throw away? The magnet gives your contacts a reason and way to hang on to your card
• When you meet someone at an event and get their business card (you do get their card, don't you?), write where and when you met them and any notes about them on the back of the card. That will jog your memory when you're staring at that pile of cards on your desk.
• Whenever possible, make your intereactions in person. In-person contact (events, meetings, etc.) are much more effective than other means of contact
• Follow up immediately by phone or email whenever you have contact with someone
